Lummis, port near deal on waterfront issues
The Lummi Indian Business Council and Port of Bellingham commissioners are expected to vote next week on an agreement that helps to clear the way for major redevelopment and cleanup projects on the Bellingham waterfront. "It's a big step for both the tribe and the port," said Henry Cagey, Lummi Nation chairman. "We're on the same page."
