The Institute of Museum and Library Services--the primary source of federal support for the nation’s 123,000 libraries and 17,500 museums--is accepting grant applications to the Native American/Native Hawaiian (NANH) Museum Services program. According to the IMLS press release, grant amounts range from $5,000-$50,000 and provide opportunities for federally recognized Indian tribes, Alaskan Native Villages and corporations, and organizations that primarily serve and represent Native Hawaiians to strengthen programming, encourage professional development, and improve museum services.
