The 61st Annual North American Indian Days held in Browning, Montana, this plast July 12-15 was a glorious, gorgeous affair as the above pow wow video makes clear.  The pow wow grounds are replete with tipis as authentic Blackfeet traditions are on display four straight days.  There was contest pow wow dancing, games, sporting events and lots of socializing.  Tribes from all over the country and Canada have made this one of the largest gatherings of American Indian and indigenous peoples in the United States.

The Women's Fancy Shawl dancers were one memorable part of the celebration.  Their moves are elegant, intricate, and athletic.

As the pow wow season winds down, we'll be putting up our favorite pow wow videos from this past year from all over the country.  As every pow wow season winds down, it offers up a time to reflect on the past year and look forward to the future.  These awesome videos make it easy to feel like the future is a bright one indeed.

If there's a particular pow wow video out there that you love (or that you filmed yourself) and you want us to put it up on our site, email us at editor@ictmn.com
