Arizona Tribal College Inaugurates Fourth President


James Vander Hooven was inaugurated as the fourth president of Tohono O’odham Community College (TOCC) in Sells, Arizona on December 9, 2011.

In his inaugural address he talked about the need for the college to build partnerships and rely on the strength of its faculty and staff. “He said that community colleges change lives and that he is committed to bringing this power of change to as many people as possible on the Tohono O’odham Nation,” reads a press release.
