Today the host of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Ty Pennington will participate in the unveiling of the revamped Seminole Casino Coconut Creek in Coconut Creek, Florida, just south of West Palm Beach.

At noon, Pennington will join Seminole Tribal Chairman James E. Billie, the casino's Chief Executive Officer Jim Allen and President Steve Bonner in presenting a check to the SOS Children’s Village for a new roof makeover. The international nonprofit works with disadvantaged families to help prevent crises that can lead to family separation.

Then they will reveal the new casino entranceway. “We’re looking forward to officially opening what has been a monumental effort by thousands of people to build the most fun, entertaining place in South Florida,” Bonner said in a statement. “We know that our guests will be very pleased with the results.”

The Seminole Casino Coconut Creek—open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year—just completed a $150 million expansion. Gaming space increased with a new 100,000-square-foot gaming floor. A non-smoking Stax Poker Lounge was added to the second floor. Customers will also have three new dining options: NYY Steak, which only has only one other location—Yankee Stadium, 1st Street Deli and Sorrisi Italian Restaurant. The expansion also includes a new 1,200-seat entertainment venue, the Pavilion, which features concerts, VIP events and shows.

The casino underwent its first major expansion of approximately $32 million in 2007. The Seminole Tribe of Florida also operates the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa and Hollywood, as well as Hollywood Seminole Bingo, Seminole Casino in Immokalee, and Seminole Bingo Casino in Brighton.

The celebration kicks off tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. in the casino’s new valet parking area.
