A Collaboration of Culture Between Native Hawaiians and American Indians in Minneapolis
The Halau Kiawekupono O Ka Ua found themselves very far from the Big Island last week. In fact, they were in the land of 10,000 lakes, the beautiful state of Minnesota, visiting the Minneapolis American Indian Center to share their culture and heritage with the locals.
The Twin Cities Daily Planet put together this wonderful photo gallery of the meeting of these two great cultures, and we highly recommend you check it out. As the Planet's Ben Zvan wrote, this event was "a powerful sharing of spiritual, cultural, and historical experience."
Check it out here.
