Looking for a great way to celebrate Father's Day this weekend? How about a little powwow action?

Here's great list of pow wows happening this weekend all over the country just for you!

If one of these events are located near you, we suggest you head on over and enjoy some thrilling dances, lively musical performances, and, of course, delicious traditional foods!

Kaw Inter-tribal Pow Wow, Kansas

When & Where: June 15th – 16th at the Kaw Mission State Historic Site in Council Grove, Kansas.

Starting at 6:30PM on Friday, this weekend event is chock full of great festivities! Saturday morning will kick off with the Washunga Days Parade, followed by a complimentary luncheon to all powwow staff, contestants, and Kaw tribal members. Powwow attendees will also enjoy afternoon shows including Red, White, & Blue Quilts, Hiebert’s Delcimers, and TerryLee Whetstone: Native American Flute. 34th Annual AICA Spring Pow Wow, North Carolina

When & Where: June 15th – 16th at the Van Hoy Farms Family Campground in Harmony, North Carolina.

Celebrating its 34th year, the American Indian Cultural Association of North Carolina will be hosting an incredible powwow this weekend filled with contests. Contests will include Princess, Gourd dancing, crafts, and more! For more information about this event, click here.

Heber Valley Pow-Wow at Soldier Hollow, Utah

When & Where: June 15th – 17th at Soldier Hollow in Midway, Utah.

According to their website, “for the past 7 years the Heber Valley Pow-Wow at Soldier Hollow has grown to be one of the highlights of Heber Valley. With over 3500 people attending this 3-day event annually the Powwow has been a destination of social, family and cultural gatherings.” Admission is $7. Osage River Pow Wow, Missouri

When & Where: June 16th – 17th at the Miller County Fairgrounds in Eldon, Missouri.

With Master of Ceremonies, Lance Cully, at the helm, this years Osage River Pow Wow with begin each day at 10AM. Special guest will be Larry Sellers from the hit television show Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. Sellers will be displaying his original arts and crafts. 31st Annual Plains Indian Museum Powwow, Wyoming

When & Where: June 16th – 17th at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming.

The Plains Indian Museum Powwow will begin at 12PM Saturday. Dance competition categories will include Men’s Fancy, Women’s Jingle, Tiny Tots, and more! Powwow attendees will enjoy experience traditional and authentic Native American, arts, crafts, and foods. For more information about this event, click here.

Surprised the 42nd Annual Rose Festival Pow Wow in Portland, Oregon this weekend didn't make the list. It's today through Sunday at Delta Park in the Vanport District.
