Folk Singer Pete Seeger Shares Some Hudson River History

American folk singer and environmental activist Pete Seeger tells the story of the Peacemaker and the Haudenosaunee Confederacy at Clearwater's Great Hudson River Revival: A Music & Environmental Festival, which was held June 16 and 17 at Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson, New York.

He tells the crowd how Ben Franklin and other Founding Fathers used the Haudenosaunee Confederacy as a guide to mold the country's democratic government. Seeger ended the talk with a Seneca canoe song.
