Genealogy Seminar to Be Held in Victoria, Texas


The Victoria County Genealogical Society will host a genealogy seminar on October 20 at 8:30 a.m. in the Victoria College Student Center, Room A, at 2200 E. Red River St., in Victoria, Texas.

Guest speaker Martha Jones, who teaches genealogy classes at Victoria College, researches family history and is a group leader for the Texas Tracers, who travel to Salt Lake City, Utah every year to pursue their ancestry.

Lectures offered during the day will include information about family history records available online, in local and state repositories and national genealogical archives.
