Put a little powwow action on your weekend calendar!

We've put together a list of a few awesome powwows happening all across the nation this weekend just for you!

If one of these exciting events is located near you, we recommend heading over to enjoy some lively dancing and drumming, thrilling musical performances, and delicious, authentic foods!

San Manuel Pow Wow, California

When & Where: October 12th – 14th at California State University in San Bernardino, California.

Festivities begin at 5PM Friday night and your grand entry will be at 8PM. Powwow goers will enjoy watching dancers compete in categories including Fancy, Jingle, and the ever popular and adorable Tiny Tots! Dancers will compete for cash prizes ranging from $100 - $5,000. 9th Annual Santa Fe Days on the Square, Texas

When & Where: October 13th – 14th in Historic Downtown Carrollton, Texas.

Kicking off bright and early on Saturday at 9AM with the grand entry, the 9th Annual Santa Fe Days on the Square is going to be chock-full of incredible festivities including works from more than 40 Native American Artists and Craftsmen, Championship Plains Indian Dancers, Evelio Flores’ Aztec Dancers, and more! Chattahoochee River Park Intertribal Powwow, Florida

When & Where: October 12th – 14th at the River Landing Park in Chattahoochee, Florida.

Gates open at 10AM each day. With MC Bill “Buffalo Truax at the helm powwow attendees will love watching performances from Native American drummers, dancers, 2009 NAMI award winning flutist, J.J. Kent, and more! For more information, click here.

3rd Annual Running Water Singers Powwow, North Carolina

When & Where: October 12th – 13th at Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Celebrating their 3rd year, the Running Water Singers Powwow is prepared to have a great weekend and dancers will compete for over $10,000 in prize money! Your MC is Keith Colston. Admission is $5. For more information about this event, click here.
