American Indian Community House Winter Social Is a Fun-Filled Evening

February 25, 2013
The sound of pow wow songs filled the canyons of Midtown Manhattan as the American Indian Community House hosted their first social of the year on February 23. Hundreds of Native and non-Native visitors turned out to visit, share food, dance and listen to the sounds of Silver Cloud and Mystic River singing groups. Since 1969 the American Indian Community House has provided the urban Native populations of New York City with not only social gatherings, but a wide variety of programs from job placement to health and fitness support.
Congratulations to the American Indian Community House and their staff for a wonderful, fun-filled evening.
