Ready for a little pow wow action this weekend?

We've put together a list of a few incredible pow wows happening all over the nation this weekend just for you!

If one of these events is located in your area, we highly recommend heading over to enjoy some lively dancing and drumming, thrilling musical performances, and delicious, authentic foods!

Cherokee of Georgia Spring Pow Wow, Georgia

When & Where: April 4 – 6 at the Cherokee of Georgia Tribal Grounds in St. George, Georgia.

The Cherokee of Georgia Spring Pow Wow is getting their weekend started early by kicking off their celebrations on Thursday! Pow wow attendees will enjoy feasting on Indian Chili and Fry Bread as they watch dancers and participate in cultural activities. Grand Entry is at 7 p.m. each day. Chasco Fiesta Native American Pow Wow & Festival, Florida

When & Where: April 5 – 7 at the Sims Park in New Port Richey, Florida.

Gates open at 5 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Festivities for the weekend include performances by Arvil Bird and Aztecs, a Warrior on Horseback presentation, a Gator/Snake program, and so much more! Fore more information about this event, click here.

35th Annual Chambers Farm Spring Family Pow Wow, Florida

When & Where: April 5 – 7 at the Chambers Farm in Fort McCoy, Florida.

This weekend event has an entire day dedicated to its Veterans. Saturday is Veterans Day that will honor the local Ft. McCoy VFW Home. All singers and dancers are welcome to participate in the intertribal dances throughout the weekend. Your Head Man and Lady are Matt and Rita Horse. 41st Annual Ann Arbor Dance for Mother Earth Pow Wow, Michigan

When & Where: April 6 – 7 at the Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Led by the University of Michigan’s Native American Student Association, the Annual Ann Arbor Dance for Mother Earth Pow Wow will host around 200 dancers, 10 drums, and more than 40 vendors. According to their site, this year the pow wow will hold an honor song to commemorate one of their own. “In memory of Native American veteran Art Brant, head of Powwow security for many years, will commemorate his decades-long leadership and dedication to Dance for Mother Earth.” Doors open at 10:30 a.m. each day.
