The Oglala Sioux Tribe's Trail of Hope for Indian Housing initiative hauled an actual home all the way from Pine Ridge to Washington, D.C. They arrived yesterday and today have the structure set up in Carlyle Square near the U.S. Capitol Building to build awareness for the terrible state of Indian housing on reservations, especially in the Northern Plains, like Pine Ridge.
