Let's pow wow!

We've put together a great list of a few pow wows happening all over the nation this weekend just for you!

If one of these events is located in your area, we highly recommend heading over to enjoy some lively dancing and drumming, thrilling musical performances, and delicious, authentic foods!

Yonah Band of Cherokees 2013 Spring Pow Wow

When & Where: April 26 – 28 at Gabby's Cabin in Cleveland, Georgia.
Festivities begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday. Grand entry will be at noon each day. Special performances by Women of Hear, Ryan “Little Eagle” Molina, and The Modern American String Band. Admission is $2 and all proceeds are donated to the Yonah Band of Cherokees Heritage Center. MSU - Northern Sweetgrass Society Pow Wow
When & Where: April 26 – 27 at the Montana State University Northern Gym in Harve, Montana.
With Master of Ceremonies Russell Standing Rock of Rocky Boy at the helm, this weekend event is certain to be memorable. Your grand entry is at 6 p.m. on Friday and 12 p.m. on Saturday. Special dances throughout the weekend include teen girls fancy, women’s traditional, men’s old style, and the ever-adorable tiny tots! Admission is free. American Indian Pow Wow – A Celebration of Life for All People
When & Where: April 27 at the Mount Trashmore Park in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
The Mount Trashmore American Indian Pow Wow has been a staple in Virginia Beach for the past 13 years. Festivities begin at 11 a.m. Shortly followed by the grand entry at 12p.m. Admission is free. For more information about this event, click here.

18th Annual Harvard University Pow Wow
When & Where: April 27 at the Radcliffe Lawn in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The 18th Annual Harvard University Pow Wow kicks off at 12 p.m. on Saturday with a grand entry. Pow wow goers will enjoy the incredible drumming of the Iron River Singers while eating delicious authentic food and shopping for arts and crafts. For more information about this event, click here.
