Red Thunder Rolling: Gathering of Nations Motorcycle Ride for Vets

ICTMN Staff
4/26/13

Each year at the annual Gathering of Nations pow wow in Albequerque, New Mexico, the Red Thunder Rolling motorcycle ride benefits a worthy cause  and brings attention to a grass-roots endeavors that promote family and community. Veterans are also a frequent beneficiary, including last year, when Red Thunder raised funds to help the Navajo Code Talker museum project.

This year’s ride benefits the Chichiltah Veterans Park, a memorial park dedicated to all veterans resting in peace. This park is the creation of Patrick Arthur and his family whose hard work and determination has provided a place of healing for veterans and their families; it is located in Vanderwagen, New Mexico, south of Gallup.

Looks like even some tough tiny tots will join the Red Thunder Rolling ride to help vets at the Gathering (Red Thunder Rolling/Facebook)
