Who's ready to pow wow this weekend? We sure are!

We've put together a great list of a few pow wows happening all over the nation this weekend just for you!

If one of these events is located in your area, we highly recommend heading over to enjoy some lively dancing and drumming, thrilling musical performances, and delicious, authentic foods!

35th Annual First Nations University of Canada Spring Celebration
When & Where: May 11 – 12 at the Brandt Center in Saskatchewan, Canada.
As one of the longest running and largest in Saskatchewan, the FNU pow wow expect quite the crowd at this years festivities. Last year more than 6,300 visitors gathered to watch 706 dancers compete and enjoy all the exciting performances. This year kicks off at 12pm on Saturday and admission is $7. 42nd Annual Stanford Pow Wow
When & Where: May 10 – 12 at the Eucalyptus Grove in Stanford, California
This year the Stanford Pow Wow is in honor of mothers. Grand entry will be at 7pm on Friday, 1pm and 7pm on Saturday, and 1pm on Sunday. Dancers will compete in several categories including men’s grass, women’s fancy, and the always-popular tiny tots! For more information about this event, click here.

Dartmouth Pow Wow
When & Where: May 11 – 12 at the Dartmouth College Green in Hanover, New Hampshire.
According to their website, “Dartmouth College has one of the strongest and most diverse Native American communities among the academic community.” Now in its 41st year, the pow wow expects more than 1,500 attendees. Festivities begin bright and early with the blessing of the ground at 7am on Saturday and then grand entry begins at 12pm. For more information about this event, click here.

8th Annual White Buffalo Pow Wow
When & Where: May 11 – 12 at the Tupelo Buffalo Park and Zoo in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Gates open at 9am each day. Admission is $5 and $3 for elders. The White Buffalo Pow Wow presents special appearance from RJ and Jay Paul from the History Channel’s Swamp People! They will be available for autographs from 12 – 4 pm on Saturday and 12 – 3 pm on Sunday. For more information about this event, click here.

24th Annual Cherokee County Indian Festival & Mothers Day Pow Wow
When & Where: May 11 – 12 at the Boling Park in Canton, Georgia.
Festivities begin at 11am each day. The weekend will be chockfull of Native American singing, dancing, and drumming while attendees enjoy the authentic and delicious Native cuisine like fry bread! Events throughout the weekend include a living tipi village, performance by Aztec Dance Company, storytelling, and so much more! For more information about this event, click here.
