The Iroqouis Nationals Facebook page is reporting tonight that the Haudenosaunee national lacrosse team has been successful in appealing the Federation of International Lacrosse's decision to not place the team in the elite Blue division at the 2014 World Lacrosse Championships in Denver. The FIL had denied the Iroquois their rightful place in the Blue because they were not able to compete at the 2010 world championships in England as a result of the UK refusing the team entry for traveling on their valid Haudenosaunee Nation passports; the top six finishers at each world championships compete in the Blue division in the the subsquent worlds.

ICTMN will have complete coverage of the Iroquois Nationals successful appeal tomorrow, June 13.
