Circling Raven Wins TripAdvisor Award, to Host Susan G. Komen Golf Tournament

TripAdvisor awarded Circling Raven Golf Club, part of the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel, with its Certificate of Excellence distinction for exceptional hospitality.

Located in the scenic Idaho panhandle, Circling Raven was honored for receiving consistently outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site.

“TripAdvisor is renowned for providing a venue where travelers can inform each other of their experiences – good, bad and indifferent,” said Tom Davidson, Circling Raven’s Director of Golf in a press release. “Hence, we are extremely gratified to receive this honor, which means we are accomplishing our goals to ensure our guests leave extremely pleased and beyond satisfied.”

Named one of America’s 100 best public golf courses, Circling Raven was also rated the number one public-access course in Idaho. The club’s notoriety recently hit a higher note: Circling Raven will host the Susan G. Komen Benefit and Gold Tournament on Sunday, October 13, 2013.Circling Raven is one of numerous amenities at the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel. The resort completed a massive expansion in 2011 that included the unveiling of nearly 100 guest rooms and a full-service spa. 

Owned and operated by the Coeur d'Alene Tribe, the golf club is nestled on tribal land canvassing 345,000 acres of mountains, lakes, old-growth forest and farmland. Circling Raven is named after a spiritually powerful tribal leader. The raven was said to have guided him on his journeys and warn him of any danger.

Circling Raven recently released stay-and-play packages for the fall. Beginning September 30, thru the end of the season, October 21, rates start at $199 for a round of golf for two players, cart with GPS, use of the 25-acre practice facility and an overnight stay in one of the new Spa Tower guest rooms at the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort.

Daily green fees at the highly acclaimed Gene Bates design are $65, Monday-Thursday, and $75 for Friday-Sunday and holidays, starting Sept. 30.
