On Columbus Day last week, ICTMN published a story outlining an uncomfortable history regarding the exploits of Christopher Columbus and his men when he arrived to the Bahamas in 1492.

The popular story was shared widely and many commenters asked for references for further reading.

Not wanting to disappoint, ICTMN compiled a list of sources online and in book form that supports the history of Christopher Columbus and his crew.

After each heading there are specific links, but also at the bottom please see the list of books used. Some of the links were used for more than one of the headings as well—they were not listed twice.
