The developments of a white supremacists haven in Leith, North Dakota, took a major blow on December 27. Neo-Nazi Craig Cobb, who has bought property in the small town, heard a judge set his bail at $1 million, to be paid in cash only according to wdaz.com.

Cobb, 62, along with one of his followers, Kynan Dutton, 29, were arrested in November and charged with terrorizing the people of Leith – population of 19 according to The Telegraph UK.

Cobb and the small North Dakota town made headlines in September when Jeff Schoep, “commander” of the National Socialist Movement, announced a “fact-finding tour” of Leith in “a gesture of goodwill as we plan the seeds of National Socialism in North Dakota.” The “tour” was met with protests as reported by ICTMN.

This is the latest obstacle, the white supremacist has faced. Following the NSM visit, the North Dakota Department of Health addressed sanitary violations at Cobb’s house that were to force him from his house. Cobb countered the letter from the health department by threatening to sue the city.

Cobb and Dutton have each been charged with seven felony counts of terrorizing the people of Leith by allegedly approaching residents with loaded firearms according to wdaz.com. The act Cobb called an “armed patrol,” according to The Telegraph UK.

Both neo-Nazis could face a minimum of two years in jail for each charge.

During the bail hearing Cobb’s history came into play. On December 31, 2010, Cobb fled Vancover, British Columbia to the United States after being charged for the willful promotion of hatred wdaz.com reported. Extradition does not exist because the U.S. does not have a similar law for the offense.

South Central District Judge Cynthia Feland via wdaz.com, referring to the Canadian charge, said, “it is of significant concern to the court that you actually fled another country to avoid prosecution.”

So glad to hear about this. In cash? You know I bet the Germans wouldn't even have him, because in Germany it is against the law to show a swastika. You would be jailed. His is a dying cause, so let him rot
