Robbie Robertson, the Children's Book: 10-Page Preview

Robbie Robertson, Mohawk, is a world-famous musician known for his work with influential classic-rock group The Band as well as his post-Band solo career. Rock & Roll Highway: the Robbie Robertson Story, a new book for children coming out this fall, written by Robbie's son Sebastian, relates Robbie Robertson's journey from his childhood to stardom. In the sections on his youth, his experiences on the Six Nations of the Grand River reservation and the influence of his Mohawk culture are covered.

The book is 40 pages, with illustrations by Adam Gustavson, and will be published by Henry Holt and Co. on October 21, 2014. It can currently be pre-ordered online from sites such as Amazon.com and  Barnes & Noble.
