Take a look at Native Fashion Designer Bethany Yellowtail’s creations at this weekend’s Oscars!
Native American fashion designer Bethany Yellowtail (Northern Cheyenne and Crow) had two of her magnificent creations worn this past weekend by Chastity Davis (Sliammon First Nation), an advocate for Missing and Murdered Indigenous women in Canada. Chastity wore a look from the b.yellowtail Capsule Collection to a pre-Oscars event, the Crow Rose Suede Slip Dress with the Women’s Northern Contemporary Cape. She accompanied actor Duane Howard, a First Nation born in the Nuu-chah-nulth (meaning "along the mountains and sea") territory located on the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. He stars in the multi-Oscar nominated movie The Revenant, and was outfitted in Armani to the pre-Oscar event. For the Oscars, Chastity wore the Miss Apsaalooke Wrap Dress while Duane wore Haida designer Dorothy Grant’s custom made tuxedo. Sharp all the way around!
