An Address on Native American Culture
ICTMN Staff
November 15, 2011
A University of Wisconsin Oshkosh student discusses the need for curriculum that focuses on Native American culture on UW campuses. He notes the many stereotypical questions he has received from other students including if he lived in a tipi and if he could do a rain dance. There are 13 four-year UW campuses across the state, the speaker notes his surprise that only four offer Native American studies programs.
