There doesn't seem to be the hype, like whenthe year 2000 came along and the forcasters of doom said the computers that seem to run everything
inportant were going to shut down. They were selling condos or specially built places equipped with everything to handle the proposed end.
Maybe people realized what ashame that one was and are going to ride this oneout :)

The Mayans are only a handfull of Native Americans who had a handle on the future, other tribes have specific knowledge of the doings of this age and the events that will lead up to the end of time that they refuse to share with the world in general. The common saying among them is "just as our forefathers predicted would happen is happening!". Ironically, in thier cultures, the white man remains the greatet culprit for most of the negativety, i.e,.space travel, environment and immorality.

Great humor. Well, so much for Indigenous "science" and great prophetic ability of the Native mind. But, much of Native American "creationism" and discounting of Western science fits right in with the anti-science Tea Party folks who continue to reject many scientific theories.
