Canine Members of the Armed Forces Act Passes Senate Today, Help for Military Working Dogs Coming

The Retired Military Working Dog Assistance Organization (RMWDAO) is reporting that the Canine Members of the Armed Forces Act passed in the Senate today, December 4. The Act is meant to provide benefits and care for retired Military Working Dogs.
RMWDAO is a non-profit organization based out of Universal City, Texas. RMWDAO is dedicated to helping our Nations retired military working dogs live a better, more comfortable life after they have finished serving our country’s needs.
The House version of the Act has not passed yet, but the step forward today in the Senate is encouraging.
