Choctaw Nation School Eligible for Federal Funding Again
Tulsa World recently reported that thanks to U.S. Rep Dan Boren, Jones Academy, a school started by the Choctaw Nation in 1891 near Hartshorne, Oklahoma is again eligible for federal funding. The school is now back under the Bureau of Indian Education school system.
