Social media is the wave of the future and Facebook is at the center of the hub. Just like the site is the center of a heated debate between aboriginal leaders in Australia.
According to The Australian Les Malezer, co-chair of the National Congress of Australia’s First Peoples, addressed Lowitja O’Donoghue, aboriginal leader, saying she was never elected to lead indigenous bodies. He also addressed how the organizations structure of having a female and male chair lead the organization was the idea of a select few.
Shortly after O’Donoghue denied Malezer’s proposal to rid the NCAFP of the joint chair structure, Malezer’s comments appeared on his site.
