Last year, comedian Ryan McMahon had to spend Father's Day away from his family, an occasion that caused him to ponder the day's meaning; he ended up preserving some of his thoughts on video.

What is fatherhood? He thought it was a job, and he thought that was a useful way to look at it. An obligation to be taken seriously. However, a few words from an old man changed his perspective on fatherhood, and Native fatherhood in particular.
