Humala Wins Peru Presidency
With 84.4 percent of the ballots counted, Nationalist candidate Ollanta Humala has won the presidential runoff election in Peru according to the national elections office.
Humala edged Keiko Fujimori by a count of 50.7 percent to 49.29 percent. The remaining ballots are in remote areas having been considered Humala supporters, according to Fox News Latino.
Fujimori, the daughter of disgraced former President Alberto Fujimori, conceded defeat Sunday night.
