According to the U.S. Department of Energy press release, Department’s Tribal Energy Program announced three new tribal energy funding opportunities, a number of regional workshops, and an opportunity for tribal students to intern with the Tribal Energy Program. DOE has also announced its Tribal Summit scheduled for May 2011, and the appointment of Tracey LeBeau, Cheyenne River Sioux, as the Director of Indian Energy Policy and Programs.
