The Associated Press reports that the Red Lodge School District's board of trustees in Red Lodge, Montana, has scheduled a vote next week to decide whether they are going to drop their "Redskins" mascot.  A meeting on February 9th showcased how support for changing the mascot is evenly divided against those who wish to keep the 60-year old tradition alive.

The Northern Cheyenne Tribal Council has asked the school to change the mascot. A vote is scheduled for Tuesday, February 15th.
