Murkowski Hires Moreland as Fisheries Advisor

On October 4, Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) announced the hiring of Stefanie Moreland to join her Washington staff in November as legislative aide covering fisheries issues and Artic matters.
Moreland, who has lived in Alaska for more than a decade, joins Murkowski’s team after most recently serving as the Federal Fisheries coordinator, extended jurisdiction program manager and economist at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities and a master’s in resource and applied economics from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.
