On the first Friday of the month the National Archives at Forth Worth hosts free genealogical workshops from noon to 1 p.m. at its Montgomery Plaza location, 2600 West 7th Street, Suite 162, Fort Worth, Texas.

The next workshop will be held August 3 and will be Genealogy for Kids. Upcoming workshops include:

• September 7: Where Did He Go? with guest speaker Sandra Crowley
• October 5: Navigating NARA Online with Meg Hacker, archives director
• November 2: Genealogical Research in Military Records with Aaron Holt, archives technician
