National Archives Offers Genealogy Workshop

The National Archives in Kansas City, Missouri will offer a free genealogical workshop Friday, June 10 from 1 to 2 p.m. titled Introduction to Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Records.
The workshop will introduce attendees to BIA records at the National Archive, and give an overview of the kinds of records available and how they can be used to research Native American ancestry. Presenters include Shirley Donaldson, who specializes in Native American ancestry, and Jennifer Audsley-Moore, who has been with the National Archives for five years.
