Native American Art and Education Topic of Gallery Talk

In conjunction with the Hood Museum of Art's Native American art exhibit, on display through March 11, 2012, Tsianina Lomawaima, Creek, will give a talk entitled "People in the Machine: Students, Employees and Teachers in the Federal Indian School System."
Lomawaima is the Gordon Russell visiting professor in Native American studies this fall at Dartmouth, and a full-time professor of American Indian studies at the University of Arizona. The talk will take place at 12:30 p.m., November 8 in the Hood Museum, at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.
