Pangnirtung Fiord on Baffin Island, Nunavut, forms the southern boundary of the Auyuittuq National Park of Canada, according to the country's national parks service.

This gem was taken by Andrew Dialla of Pangnirtung, Nunavut, who won third place in Nunavut Tunngavik’s 2010 Photo of the Year contest with this shot.

The contest runs monthly and accepts photos of Nunavut landscapes, communities and wildlife, NTI says on its website. Photos of people are also considered, as long as the people depicted sign a release form. Any beneficiary of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement may enter a photo.
