It's officially the first weekend in June and it's time to get your pow wow on!

We've put together a great list of pow wows happening this weekend all over the country just for you!

If one of these events are located near you, we suggest you head on over and enjoy some thrilling dances, lively musical performances, and, of course, delicious traditional foods!

St. George Powwow, Utah

When & Where: June 1st - 2nd at the Dixie Convention Center in St. George, Utah.

Doors open at 2pm on Friday to authentic Native American art, crafts, and food booths. According to their website, "the mission of the St. George Pow Wow is to create an environment and event that allows a variety of cultures and ethnicities to come together under one roof to celebrate our differences through song and dance." There will be special performances by Arvel Bird, Randy Wood, and Eli Secody. For more information about this event, click here.

Taylorville Black Horse Inter-Tribal Pow Wow, Illinois

When & Where: June 1st - 3rd at the Christian County Fairgrounds in Taylorville, Illinois.

Celebrating it's 7th year, this pow wow will begin at 10AM and end at 10PM each day with dance competitions at 12PM, Little Warriors, Little Princesses, and Luck of the Draw raffles. Admission and parking is free! For more information about this event, click here.

Tulalip Veterans Pow Wow, Washington

When & Where: June 1st - 3rd at the Tulalip Tribal Building in Tulalip, Washington

In it's 21st year, the Tulalip Veterans Pow Wow will be a three day event filled with traditional Native American festivities. Your Master of Ceremonies will be Ray Fryberg. Sr. Admission is free. For more information about this event, click here.

Gateway to Nations NYC Native American Heritage Celebration, New York

When & Where: June 1st - 3rd at the Floyd Bennet Field in Brooklyn, New York.

Hosted by the Redhawk Council, the Gateway to Nations is one of the largest pow wows in the New York and New Jersey area. The council invites its attendees to "come and enjoy Native American food, music, dance, crafts, art, story telling and more!" Admission is $12. For more information about this event, click here.
