It's officially summer time and you know what that means? It's time to get your powwow on!
Here's a great list of powwows happening this weekend all over the country!
If one of these events is located near you, we suggest you head on over and enjoy some thrilling dances, lively musical performances, and, of course, delicious traditional foods!
Pow Wow at Pine Creek, Michigan
When & Where: June 23rd - 24th at the Pine Creek Reservation in Fulton, Michigan
This weekend event will begin each day at 7am with a Sunrise Ceremony. There will be two grand entries on Saturday at 1pm and 6pm, as well as a final grand entry at 1pm on Sunday. Festivities will include the Pine Creek Parade of Cheers, 50/50 raffles, car shows, and more! For more information about this event, click here.

Healing of the Nations Inter-Tribal Pow Wow, Texas
When & Where: June 22nd - 23rd in Lubbock, Texas
Beginning each day at 10AM, the West Texas Native American Association will be hosting there annual Inter-Tribal Pow Wow this weekend. You Master of Ceremonies will be Tim Harjo. Admission is $3. For more information about this event, click here.

Saddle Lake Cree Nation Pow Wow, Alberta
When & Where: June 22nd - 24th in Saddle Lake, Alberta
This weekend the Saddle Lake Cree Nation will present the Canadian Northern Plains Song & Dance Championships at their annual powwow in Alberta, Canada. Singers will compete for cash prizes up to $12,000. Dance competition categories will include Men's Grass, Ladies Jingle, Buckskin, and more! Special Tiny Tots performances! Duckwater Festival Pow-wow, Nevada
When & Where: June 22nd-23rd in Duckwater, Nevada
Celebrating its 35th anniversary, the Duckwater Festival Pow-Wow will kick off Friday afternoon with a Pee-Wee Rodeo. Weekend festivities will include horseshoe tournaments, Duckwater grown beef barbecue, a live band, and more! For more information about this event, click here.
