Professional Bull Riders Return to Pala Casino
Pala Casino Spa and Resort is hosting a weekend of high stakes and serious excitement as the Profesional Bull Riders (PBR) return to the Pala Rodeo Grounds. Starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, May 21st and 22nd, the event will showcase some of the best bull riders in the world, along with some of the sport's rising stars. The PBR nets more then 104 million television viewers and over one million attendees a year for their events on Versus, FOX, NBC and CBS.
The Pala Touring Pro Division Event will pit the best riders versus the most infamously "spirited" bucking bulls in the world. This event is a big deal for the up-and-coming riders who are hoping to earn enough prize money to qualify for PBR's "Built Ford Tough World Finals."
The Pala Casino Spa and Resort is located in northern San Diego County, and owned and operated by the Pala Band of Mission Indians. Their reservation, which is 12,273 acres that was established for the Cupeño and the Luiseño Indians, who make up the Pala, is home to most of their 918 enrolled members. The AAA four-diamond resort is celebrating it's 10th annivesary this year, and includes a 507-room hotel, a 10,000 square-foot spa, and 10-restaurants to name a few of its features.
