The Navajo Post just released a story where San Juan County Sheriff Ken Christesen attacks the Navajo Nation’s alleged poor law enforcement that has ignited tensions between the two factions.
The focus of the attention is a $500,000 substation that was built in July of 2010 that according to Christesen remains for the most part empty.
Navajo Nation spokesman Deswood Tome has said the Nation operates rotating shifts out of the substation and has a criminal investigation office there.
