Turtle Rock, Sacred Site for Okehockings Lenape

This image comes to us from Richard Whiteford, an environmental communications consultant in Pennsylvania. He writes:

"Do you know that the Okehockings, a tribe of the Lenape were the only Native Americans to receive a land grant directly from William Penn for a 500-acre parcel about three miles east of West Chester, Pennsylvania on Route 3? They worshiped the turtle and they wanted that land because of Turtle Rock where they worshiped."

to most people all they see is a out croping of rock and trees but i see the turtle in it
