The Ventura County Genealogical Society will hold its fall seminar on October 20 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3501 Loma Vista Road (at Mills Road) in Ventura, California.

Topics include: "Genealogy Orienteering: Using Maps to Find the Right Place," "Bring 'Em' Back to Life: Developing an Ancestor Profile," "Alternate Records You May Never Have Considered" and "The Genealogist as CSI."
