Cobell Lawyer Critical of Coverage; ICTMN Posts Clarification

ICTMN Staff

Yesterday on Indianz.com (and on other sites), one of the principal lawyers who worked on the Cobell settlement, Keith Harper published an essay (Keith Harper: Just a few truths about Obama, Cobell and me) that was highly critical of our story first published on Monday, September 10, now called "White House Says Lawyer in Cobell Deal Recused on Administration Conflicts (UPDATE).” In his essay, Harper provided information that clarified the issue of recusal and led us to update our coverage. We did not run Harper's essay on this website because it also made unsubstantiated allegations about our practices and the reporter who wrote the piece.

well try to get it right next time! cappricio's cobell stories have a slightly biased feel to them. Biased against pro-cobell settlement & attorneys...but i harbor no hard feelings towards reporter & ictmn. "Good luck the rest of the way..."

well, next time get it right! To me it seems that r. cappricio's reporting on the cobell settlement has a slightly biased feel about it, against the settlement & lawyers...but i harbor no hard feelings against this reporter or this ictmn. "Good luck the rest of the way..."
