I agree. However, this man was sent here by an evil Queen. She decided that the only religion in her country was hers. IF you did not convert, then you received a death sentence, or your practiced your religion in secret. Some left their homes. There are descendents practicing Christianity, they have found out they have Jewish roots. No, there would never be a Jewish American Day. I too have faced some issues. When, I was working and took "off" for a Jewish holiday, I had to charge my time. I would gladly work on Christmas Day,but I worked in a govt. office. Some co-workers even said "You always get off". No, I have to charge my time, which in a year could be about 4 vacation days. There was even talk about working on Saturdays, which I would refuse. My Sabbath is not "Sunday". So, I do not like theis Columbus Day. The people celelbrating are basically Italian. I do not think they are proud of how it turned out for the people here already. Some in my religion say we are that a "religion" and some say we are a "Race". I just watched "Into the west" again. I see how the Indian Police were used against their own people. Much like the "Kappos" in the concentration camps. In the end they ended up shipped out or dead. This day stole also they Native American beliefs in the Earth and how it is treated. This done by "kind" hearted missonaries.
