I admire Charles for his extensive outreach in an attempt to connect with the candidates in this election. His experience has born out what many of us have concluded. Save for lip service and empty words. The thoughts and feelings of the First Americans are held with little or no regard. You would think even a token stop on the campaign trail to drop in on the Navajo Nation, the largest federally recognized tribe in North America, maybe have a piece of Fry Bread, rally the people with more empty promises. No, nothing. I am not surprised, but it does validate some feeling I have about the so called nation to nation relationship that is supposed to exist. It's hard to get any attention, John McCain, Jon Kyle, Barack Obama, Willard Mitt Romney, it's sad, it is what it is. Good luck and don't forget to vote.
