Interesting. It's well known that all American Indians in north america proper, knew the reverence for the land. Local examples are deliberate burning of whole ecosystems to keep them alive, like the entire area east of the Rocky Mountains, yes, the entire area. Archaeology studies have proven this. In addition, the great north american bison, was and still is in itself a living ecosystem. Its sheer size, literally plowed the earth with their hooves from Canada to Mexico, along the way planting what it ate and sub-species that reinforced this beautiful bison ecosystem. So many things this country has lost and gained from American Indians, and some maybe will be learned too late, time will tell. I do know, for sure, we are not gone, we will be here forever. I am blessed and thankful to be able to bear witness to what is to come and what has came.
