The assault continues throughout the United States. No where is the preservation of American Indian Artifacts and sites ore critical than in the Eastern part of America. Down the Potomac River less than 50 miles from D.C. the Patawomeck Indian Tribe fights developers , Politicians and yes some sell outs from our own people. In Stafford County Va., 20,000 artifacts were recovered from a one acre site. Even though developers and builders are making a fortune from Indian Land [ its all Indian Land nothing here was not stolen] they don't want it made mandatory for even a phase One survey by an independent survey company. What they want to do is either have none or hire their own flunky. Then recovery of artifacts would be made before any construction.
