I wrote a story here on "Free Broadband on American Indian Reservations", to partially do just what you wrote about, in addition to getting and education and a few other topics. Yet, money and space is always available to the next fast food corporation on many reservations. The investment in free broadband on reservations would easily pay for itself in self reliant and educated tribal members. There is even government money for this, but in most cases I have seen, it gets corrupted from the start. The World Wide Web is the great leap forward for American Indians, if the tribal "elders" choose to give it to us, then we can move forward, if not, then open another WIC center and extend the welfare rolls. Two choices.
