Good article! But i personally see many unanswered questions. 1. They disagreed with another judge who said limiting eagle permits only to recognized tribal members was too restrictive and not necessary since the eagles aren’t endangered anymore." Q. if the federal courts had not overturned the ruling. Would the permit process really been fairer? (I say no, because I believe that thousands of citizens would apply for the permit and history would repeat itself.) e.g. remember seeing old pictures of buffalo skulls piled high and knowing that the majority of the buffalo were killed just for the robe. 2.
