I hope this sends a message to all those other quasi spiritual parasites who become "huckster's" and false "shaman's" out there who conduct 'sweat's" for the purpose of acquiring "follower's" and then relieve them of their valuables and "spiritual" being. This has been a trend amongst these mindless individuals that has finally reached a dead end literally. No disrespect meant to the survivors or the families grieving for their loved ones, but the writing had been on the wall for some time. Our traditions and spiritual cleansing rituals have never been for sale, and our Medicine people have spoken to this in the past and present. These purveyors of Native "mysticism" are nothing more than "snake oil" salesmen and have been selling their wares to the weak for too long. Shame on them, but , then you have to have morals before you can recognize what shame is. My ancestors have always spoken to the care needed to be taken when treading on other people's beliefs and spiritual practices. Unfortunately, there are those who do not respect what others deem sacred or spiritual, thus propagating the belief that our ways are for the use of others. We as Native people, practice peace and respect, and never harm to others , unless harmed first. We stood for fairness, generosity and compassion. We respected courage and humility, while recognizing wisdom and fortitude. We remain and covet all of that I have spoken about, and wish all well.
